The food variety in Phuket is immense.\u00a0 Hundreds of restaurants, if not scratching the thousand, are catering for everything you are hungry \/ looking \/craving for. Be it a simple burger, a pizza, kebab or a six course French Gourmet Dinner delight in one of the many 5 star restaurants \/ hotels on the island. You will find it all.<\/p>\n

And of course there is the Thai Food. Probably one of the best cuisine on this planet. The ingredients are always fresh and include everything from veggies, pork, beef, chicken and \u2013 naturally being on an island – seafood.<\/p>\n

Where to find the places that serve the best Thai Food? Not different to your home country. \u00a0For a hearty and affordable meal you will not go to the Hilton, you visit the restaurant in your neighborhood.<\/p>\n

And here Thailand beats it all. You can eat 24 hours and the meals many time are on wheels \u2013 the sidecar kitchens. They offer everything from noodles, rice, curries, BBQ sausages, spare rips, pancakes, fruits, ice cream and yes, even insects.<\/p>\n

You will find them in Phuket as well all over the place. They drive around and stop at certain places.<\/p>\n

Some will gather every evening at one location and stay there for the night. A wonderful place is on the beach road in Kalim.<\/p>\n

\"Street<\/a><\/p>\n

Just bring your beach mat, get all you need (a Family Mart is nearby for beers etc.) and just picnic on the pavement.<\/p>\n

Even in touristy Patong you will find on Sai Nam Yen, many local eateries, some of them open until very late, some of them even 24 hours.\u00a0 Depending on what you order you walk away with two dishes and rice for a mere THB 50. Not even 2 US-$.<\/p>\n

\"Try<\/a><\/p>\n

Great Thai Cuisine is always found in Phuket Town, which is anyhow a must to visit.<\/p>\n

Since eating good and often is a very important part of the daily Thai life, the food is always super fresh and very tasty. If an outlet is not serving good quality it is soon out of business.<\/p>\n

How to choose? \u00a0Just visit the well visited places and you can be sure, you will get served a great dish.<\/p>\n
